British Buddy English Summer Course is an English summer programme which features integration of British and international children, creating the perfect immersion environment for learning English. All students take part in activities and excursions together, allowing opportunities for international students to practise their new language with native speakers.
‘British Buddies’ are a key part of the summer programme and aid the English language development of international students. All British buddies are carefully selected for their interest in the programme and making new international friends.
Buddies join in the last 45 minutes of the morning lessons which focus on communication and working as part of a team. By working with native speakers of their own age our international students practice using English in real-life situations which greatly improves their confidence. The Buddies stay on for the afternoon and evening activities and join for the Wednesday excursion, allowing for integration at all times on camp. Friendships are soon made that last long after the summer has ended.
British Buddy English Summer Course has an outstanding student care from experienced and approachable staff – overall staff/student ratio at most 1:8. All the teachers are qualified EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers who have ability to make language learning engaging and fun.

LVS Oxford School is a converted Priory providing residential, day and flexi-boarding places within a tranquil and relaxing green campus on the outskirts of Oxford. LVS Oxford offers a supported learning environment for young learners. Its person centred approach is focused on building life skills and educational achievement to give young people a greater chance of living independently when they leave the school.
Students benefit from the excellent facilities supported by areas for practical learning and health related activities, including: sports fields, school garden and teaching kitchen. In 2016 LVS Oxford achieved its first ever GCSE results which were excellent. Five learners collected results, with a third of grades being A* – A and every exam sat achieving A* – C. As well as GCSEs LVS Oxford provides a range of academic options for learners to suit them, including an increasing number of BTECs, NVQs and the Arts Award.
The school is next to Blenheim Palace, home of Winston Churchill. The palace, one of England’s largest houses, was built between 1705 and circa 1722. Designed in the rare, and short-lived, English Baroque style, architectural appreciation of the palace is as divided today as it was in the 1720s. It is unique in its combined use as a family home, mausoleum and national monument. It is a popular tourist destination for locals and foreign visitors.
