Repton School Academic Summer Courses are designed and led by Repton teachers, offering a great educational experience that echoes what is delivered at Repton on a daily basis. As one of Britain’s most prestigious schools, the programmes also provide a unparalleled insight into the history, traditions and unique campus life of Repton School.
The two-week course is structured so that each student studies one Academic subject and one Focus elective for the duration of the course. Students choose one of four Academic programmes to study in the mornings. Each course has been carefully designed for international students, offering a detailed insight into the subject matter, taking advantage of the teaching team’s wealth of knowledge and the superb school facilities at Repton. Additionally, twice per week, students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops led by some of the school’s most inspiring faculty, further enriching their experience and fostering a deeper connection to Repton School.
In the afternoons, students will take one of four professionally taught Focus electives to develop in a fun environment that encourages social interaction and creativity while exploring new topics and developing new skills.
The comprehensive syllabus is combined with fun activity programme and cultural excursions. Students live, study and play in an English speaking, multinational environment, where they have fun, make new friends from around the globe, and enjoy every opportunity to improve their English ability.

Excursions are a vital part of the summer experience for international students to gain a cultural understanding of the UK alongside English language learning. Students will have 4 day excursions to experience the rich cultural heritage of Britain. The choices include:

Boarding:
Students are accommodated on-site in boarding houses of Repton School, mostly single, some shared with shared bathrooms. Girls and boys are accommodated separately. There are also common rooms in all boarding houses for students to relax and socialise together, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the school.In boarding houses, live-in residential staff, overseeing a pastoral group of five students each, will be on hand to offer support and guidance throughout the course.
Meals:
Well balanced, nutritious three cooked meals a day with a wide range of salads and hot dishes are provided in the school dining room. Vegetarian meals are always available and are clearly labelled. Packed lunches are provided for excursions.Facilities:
Repton School’s excellent facilities include modern, state-of-the-art classrooms, exceptional science, business and technology hubs, purpose built lecture theatre, competition swimming pool, 13 grass football pitches, 2 indoor tennis courts and 12 floodlit outdoor tennis courts, 360 seat modern theatre.Laundry:
Laundry is done once a week. All bed linen is provided and is laundered once a week.
